About Me

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself and let you all know a little bit about me. I'm currently 43, married to my wonderful husband Nathan and am living with my daughter Luna and my five parrots: Tater, Matcha, Salty Sofie, Lemon and Queso. The first two are Quaker parrots and the last three are cockatiels. They "help" me make jewelry sometimes. Tater in particular likes to help steal my beads. We live in NEOhio.

I started making jewelry as a child with seed beads, pony beads and alphabet letters. My mom was a BIG crafter. We always had a glue gun out, and there was always a project or five running. My sister and I were children of the late 80's and early 90's, so we were decked in neon, puffy paint and beaded everything.

I'm a HUGE crafter like my mom. I crochet, embroider, diamond paint, acrylic paint, watercolor paint, use resin, hand sew, make origami stars which I make into bird toys (I may sell those on the site at some point too. lol), have done tons of DIY decor over the years, and obviously make jewelry.

I've played with jewelry for a long time, making my own earrings, bracelets, chokers, and necklaces, but haven't really gotten "into it" again until recently. I wanted to learn how to wire wrap for the last few years, and in mid-August of 2025, I had a meningioma (brain tumor, it was benign and I'm doing great so no worries!) removed and decided that during my recovery period I'd make myself learn. I'm still learning, it's a pretty steep learning curve, and when I need a break, I made earrings. My side passion has always been earrings. I'm also digging making decorative phone chains right now. I plan on adding a children's section to the website (mostly for girls, but I do plan on getting some earrings for our little men too) and would like to add a bit more unisex stuff as well. Keep an eye out for changes in the webpage - more collections mostly!

I'm learning how to drill holes in crystals (I got a drill press!!) and have been all around investing in this as a career. I have big plans, lots of ideas and can barely focus on one thing at a time. Hi ADHD, if you could focus on ONE hyper fixation at a time please?
But I don't plan on going anywhere any time soon, there will be jewelry! Even if not ALL the pictures are as pretty as they are right now. :)

Some things to keep in mind:

I am trying to keep my prices reasonable, as I know that times are hard for so many of us. I will say though, while the prices of brass and copper are reasonable, and glass beads are also on the cheaper side, my semi-precious stones and sterling silver items will be a bit more expensive, depending on the stones. (agate is cheap, opal is not)

That being said, anything with sterling silver will be priced higher. Silver prices are at an all time high, and if I start working with gold, don't expect those to be cheap, because gold is more expensive than platinum right now. (I KNOW! It's INSANE! Gold is $4000 an ounce right now as I type this. Silver is $50 an ounce (that's kind of cheap!) right now. Platinum $1500, just as an FYI, lol)

That being said, I know some of us deal with allergies. I myself can only wear gold, which is why you will see everyone but me modeling my earrings. I can't wear what I make right now, until I get into buying some gold. But anyway, I can swap ANY earring to sterling silver hooks for a slight upcharge. I won't be making money off of that, it's just to cover the cost of the silver, AND it'll be dependent on what silver is going for at the time of the swap. You DON'T want to know how much I've spend in wire to get this business going, and that's even with getting a business license and getting a wholesale account with RioGrande.

I buy my semi-precious and precious stones from reputable sellers that are able to show me their sources/credentials, whether that be on etsy, or at gem shows. You can find out a lot from someone online if you just ask!! Many sellers are happy to tell you how they get their gems, how they are sourced, verified, etc. If they can't give me that information, I don't buy from them, or price it cheap and tell you it isn't verified. If I don't specifically say so in the post, it's genuine. :)

I want to make sure I'm passing on genuine stones, and not fakes. I will always tell you what materials I am using - if I know. There are some materials I have that I've completely forgotten what they are, and I'll disclose that. (Like, I know it's semi-precious stone, but no idea what it is except that it's orange. lol. Probably an agate of some sort. Or a jade. lol)

I got my business license on November 1st, and I can now apply to go to craft fairs to sell my jewelry as well. I'm looking forward to seeing you all out there "in the wild"!

If you have any ideas, feel free to shoot me a message, or send me a picture. I love chatting with people and enjoy new ideas. I'm not scary! I promise! I AM a one man show and while I'm not busy yet, I might be in the future, so be patient with me!
